Santa today….

This is in the garden of a house near us. They have small children and the first year we’ve seen this. Let’s hope Santa brings lots of presents !

Went for a swim early and only one other in the pool until about 9.30. I was planning to go on the newly refurbished steam room and sauna…but…..after being open only a few days it has a fault and is out of action a agin. not good as was closed for about a month. A day of tidying up and some cleaning etc. and getting ready for tomorrow.

This afternoon I went with a friend to help set up tables etc for Christmas lunch in a local hall. The lunch is for older people who would otherwise be alone. Each year it is organised by volunteers from one of the churches in Teddington. I have helped set up a few times and each year it is a different set up…sometimes very well organised sometimes, like today, less so which I find disappointing. They don’t seem to replicate the organisation from year to year! I would have taken a photo but no table decorations this year!
