Christmas Eve

Wrapping the final parcels to go under the Christmas tree twigs, I glimpsed a vivid sunset through the trees in the park opposite our house.
Richard and Nik collected Erin (R's niece) this morning, from near Loughborough. She'll be with us till the 27th.
Later, Josh and Ruth popped round and took Nik (and the boys) up to Josh's field - N was keen to see how it's all developing, and he was able to catch sight of the sunset from there too -  an added bonus.
Meanwhile Richard has made the stuffing for tomorrow's turkey.
Now I think we'll all wind down a bit and have a breather.
