Yellow Iris . . . WOW

Bought 5 stalks yesterday afternoon and when I got home this afternoon, they had (literally) burst into flower. Can you not smile at that color? They were just as exquisite in bud really.
Our day has been about as grey as the background; remnants of Flossie, downgraded to a tropical depression, are forecast for tonite. It is so muggy and humid. We expect no complications, but do have a busy day planned for tomorrow full of appointments, so hope it just drops lots of rain, then blows through. Rain is welcome.
