Ugly Duckling?

I had a quietish day getting ready to head to my sister’s in Kent for Christmas, but found time for a quick walk from Frimley Lodge Park along the canal.

A pair of swans with two offspring had taken up residence, and I thought the rather wistful look on this youngster’s face as it, grew from the ugly duckling stage to a beautiful adult, would suit as a subject for today's Mono Monday challenge.
