Boris's Big Blue Hahn/Cock

OK, it 's not Boris's - but it is called "Cock" (or Hahn in German), and it's the latest piece of art to grace the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square, by Katharina Fritsch. I love it's irreverence and innuendo - the Germans have the same word and connotations.

Boris unveiled it on Saturday with much hemming and hawing and complained that Cameron's proposed rules would prevent Internet searches for it. All good fun and it's a seriously vivid shade of blue, which makes an impact on a lovely sunny day :-)
