The White Horse of Uffington

Have wanted to visit this for years...
It was very humble, simple and beautiful.
I liked the openness of it - not fenced off and restricted.
The butterflies fluttering over it.
The grassland was fascinating as it is so different to the clay soils here. Different wildflowers and different butterflies. Marbled whites, Chalkhill Blues, Large Skippers. Such a joy to see...
Good to see a new part of the country before we headed back home.
