Talking to Santa

We took Sugar to see the fat man today. She has been a really good girl this year so I'm sure she will make out just fine. Did the last minute shopping while we were out. 
When we got home we took a long walk up on Sunset Point and along the Potomac. It was cold and breezy. We spotted something on the groin off the sandbar and decided to investigate. It was a very nice Adirondack chair. It must have been washed up there when we were at the farm because it had to be quite a storm to end up on these rocks out in the river. Being the beach combers we are we retrieved it and brought it home. It is a bit twisted but I'm sure hubby will enjoy the job of making it right again. There are no houses around this beach so we think it may have come across from VA. 
This evening we visited Knott's Farm with the family. This will be the last year for the Christmas event as Bubby passed away. It was a grand day. Sure hope yours was as well!
