Carol service

Tonight was the carol service in our little church.  It was absolutely crammed full of people and the choir and lit by candles. There was even a donkey at the door greeting people - although I missed seeing it as I was inside before it arrived.  Afterwards we all processed down the hill into a traditional farmhouse kitchen for a merry time of mince pies, eats and mulled wine.  The choir sang another song for the hostess and her family and there was much friendly chatter.
