Pflanzerl
I guess this is the equivalent of the Swedish meatballs I see folk making for Christmas dinner. I made them last year to cater for an 11 year old’s tastes and they were scoffed by everyone so why change a winning menu?
Shopping this morning (damn, forgot the cinnamon sticks) then we met up with Claudia for lunch, another good catch up and a good lunch. On the way home we popped into a wee Turkish grocery on the off chance and emerged with enough cinnamon sticks to flavour punch for the next decade! It’s bark, bark doesn’t have a use by date!
Anyway, the punch is made and tastes fine, the pflanzerl are made and taste fine, I’m sitting drinking a Weissbier which tastes fine and we’re watching a Percy Jackson series on the box - not everyone’s taste but for us - fine!
