Relish, Soup & Gravy....

......Nancy remains ensconced in her sick bed, occasionally calling for tea or toast. 

For today, we had planned to tackle some cleaning and then head to the kitchen to make cranberry relish, xmas day soup and a gravy base for the  bird juices. As it turned out, I turned out all of these things myself, and I've just sat down and opened a can of something hoppy as a reward for my industry. I've also stumbled upon a Monty Python classic, so much chuckling awaits.

I'm concerned about Nancy. She's not a malingerer, and yet she's not moved from her sick bed for three days, I suspect our plans for Xmas Day and beyond are under real threat. Fingers crossed she recovers soon.
