By the lake

B came over and we walked the dogs across the fields and down to the lake. The big tree trunk that is lying by the lake has some sort of lichen on I think, unless it is an unusual fungus. We saw and heard some skylarks. Then back for supper. The dogs are both snoozing now. Sid had a play with Peggy spaniel earlier.
