Mono-Monday: Emotion - "Portrait"

McCaviti would like us to represent emotion in today's MM challenge - preferably with a portrait. Well neither my Editor nor Son#2 (or his partner) were particularly keen to be photographed; I considered a selfie but you've seen plenty of me on blip over the years I think!

So when we spent some time this afternoon in a local garden centre, with lots of Christmas paraphernalia, I chose this Santa for my blip. He certainly looks happy, no doubt because of the happiness he'll be bringing to children all over the world in 2 days' time - although do you detect a touch of anxiety too in his face? I do. Maybe he's feeling his age and is a little worried as to whether he can cope with the stress of delivering all the presents in time?

Now: For those blippers who've been wondering what's happened to the rest of my Iceland trip backblips which I promised - well I've finally found time to process another day's worth which you'll find here. (I'm hoping to get them all done before 1st January as I've saved up several more extras for the purpose!)
