"Sunshine after the rain"

Wow what a wet day, it poured buckets. Got wet so many times. Tonight we all walked around the Red Gra sports track for some exercise. We had to wait until the rain stopped otherwise we'd have all been soaked.

The sky has been menacing all day but tonight as we walked it brightened up and the clouds looked so different.

This is the view from the rear of our daughters house. Sadly the Red Gra isn't used by schools any more its only used for dog walking and the small playing field is an area for the young footie players.

As schools are strapped for cash I find it crazy that they pay for transport and hire of a sports arena in Manchester for sports events when the running track is on the doorstep. Probably plans are afoot to build on the land. We will be prepared for a fight as the running track is surrounded by land that we achieved "village green" status for.
