Quick, Slow, Slow
Arrived at The Larder for an 0830 start delivering Christmas meals.
A bit of a faux pas from the 'organisers'..... the meals hadn't been bagged -- and the selection boxes for the kids had been given away to people who had attended the community meal evenings by mistake.
So SWMBO and I decided to pack the meals in the bags once we had got the crates in the back of the car (it meant that we could make sure we has the right numbers of of starters, mains and deserts before heading into the wilds.) Whilst doing that the red sky made an appearance. So I grabbed a picture - which is just as well because it lasted about 3 minutes.
1st stop was at a 'hotel' for the homeless. One of the 3 people I was looking for had been moved into their own place but nobody knew where.
after a few drop-offs things got really interesting when the phone signal and sat-nav dropped out.
However, we got things done despite the sat nav not knowing where a couple of streets were when it came back on. In fact, our mileage was actually lower than we had estimated.
We had carol singers turn up at the door during the afternoon (extra) who gave us one song.
Squirrel was the only one who objected to having her picture taken. My how times have changed!
I went out t the garage for 15 minutes to wax a couple of things.
An hour and a half later I got back in!!
Boy it can be hard to get away from the next door neighbour when she isn't in a rush.
Todays whisky will be Lindores Abbey.
