But really he likes to sit on the wall and watch.

Watch the birdies.
Watch other cats investigating / invading his territory.
Watching.

I'd probably do the same if I were a cat.

Should've been out for a meal tonight with family plus family's in-laws but plans were changed at the last minute.

What did we do?
We still went out for a meal, but just nearer to home.
How busy can a place be on a Monday evening?!
