Blipping the blipper (Day 3514)

The weather has been better today. The same cannot be said of my sciatica. Even after being up for a while this morning I couldn't get my socks on and had to ask my beautiful wife for assistance. Once I was fully dressed and suitably caffeinated and dosed with drugs, we headed to the horses. It was quite nice seeing them when it wasn't a howling gale and lashing rain.
Horses checked, we stopped off at Mum's for a coffee and blether, then zoomed home for lunch. Next on the list was a wander at Lyde with Sigyn. The wind was light enough that HV and I were able to have a conversation rather than yelling at each other above the wind.
Another visit to the horses followed, this time to top up our water store, move the electric fence and put out hay. Even at just after 3pm it was getting fairly dark in the field.
Back home as the last of the light disappeared, the rain came back.
