Christmas Eve

…for us anyway. We’ve picked up Christmas and moved it forward 24 hours because Jack is home for two nights and has to return back to Italy on Christmas Day, in time for going back on tour on Boxing Day!

After collecting him from the airport this morning, we went into town for lunch with grandma and grandad who were very happy to see him. It was bitterly cold in Durham, but we noticed how much more of the castle we can see at the moment because all the trees have dropped their leaves.

Now a typically relaxing ‘Christmas Eve’ is planned, with some gaming, tv watching and junk food. Presents are wrapped and under the tree. I think we’re just about organised!
