It fits where it touches . . .

My recliner, a ‘LazyBoy Wall Recliner’,  is one of two we bought long before moving, so it’s a good twenty five to thirty years old, and it shows its age.  For me it’s the most comfortable chair in the house so I don’t want to buy a new one.  I have cleaned the arms a few times but they soon look grubby again, and I’ve given up looking for a local upholsterer to get it recovered.

So I finally gave in and looked for a loose cover.  They are all stretch fit and are suitable for all reclining chairs and have wonderful reviews stating how easy they are to put on.  Ha ha.

After giving up with the instructions I finally got it to fit on . . . !  At least it’s not quite so embarrassing when we have visitors.

Pressy exchange with the daughter and Tesco shop this morning.   Recovering from the recovering this afternoon.  I’ll get to try out the new cover.
