Snowbow

Out for my lunchtime run and was lucky enough to spot a snowbow - which is apparently a fairly rare phenomenon that forms when sunlight is reflected and refracted by ice crystals in the air (every day's a school day). 

A lovely, calm and relatively warm day today, which is rather marvellous given the abysmal run of crappy weather recently...
