Every Tuesday I volunteer to read the instruments at the weather station on the island and record on the Met office data base. Some days you have to put up with strong winds and driving rain, others it is warm and sunny. Because of work I don’t always do my reading in time for it to influence weather forecasting, but it is still really interesting.
