love…

…the 4th sunday

of

advent

christmas day is coming - and for me - as a christ follower - i turn my attention to the - amazing love that prompted abba - to send his only son to our earth - we see the love of abba - his affection, care as well - as kindness to his children - on display through each - part of his son’s arrival - it inspired hope - and inspired hand raised praise - from a god who - so deeply loved his people - yet didn’t shy away from - showing it to them - scripture says his love was the kind - which affected simeon’s praise in the new testament like this

‘my eyes have seen your salvation. you have prepared it in the presence of all peoples.’ luke 3:30-31 (csb)

what better hope - is there than salvation - from a god who loved you - so much he sacrificed his - only son for you

‘for god loved the world in this way: he gave his one and only son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.’ john 3:16 (csb)

may you be open to such - a great love for yourself - and realize it will end in…
