I made it to our Birmingham Vineyard Church this morning for the last Advent Sunday before Christmas.
It was reflections on Advent, with Christmas carols,
This evening we have been to a pre Christmas gathering at one of our friends. A tradition each year, Lots of familiar faces, one new baby and a delightful almost two year old in the mix. We had been to both of their young parents’ weddings in the past two years.
There was a karaoke session which was fun to watch and listen to!.
Mainly Christmas songs and some carols,
We came home by 9:00pm as I had had a full day,
I’m sure the rest of them would go on till later.
It always kind of heralds the beginning of Christmas week.
Our family are all coming round on Christmas Eve this year,
I’m now in bed so will catch up tomorrow
