It has been a long day with a 6 1/2 hour drive down to London. It was incredibly busy on the roads and when we stopped at Peterborough Services it took us nearly half an hour just to get out of the car park back onto the A1! Coming through London, the approach to the Blackwall tunnel was at a virtual standstill. It is lovely to see our youngest two grandchildren and we have looked after them this evening whilst our daughter and son-in-law have gone out for a meal. Mia at 17 months old was doing well with her building blocks. Their two cats have a habit of sitting on the stairs, although Tito in the main shot is now curled up next to me on the sofa.
