Finished

That was my last day ever as a children's librarian.... A very emotional day! I went via my two main libraries to deliver Christmas chocolates and say goodbye. 
Then at HQ, which is/was my main work location, I was presented with cards and presents - my colleague had done a collection then made a booklet with all the lovely comments from everyone, including ex-colleagues and previous managers who have left the service. I was overwhelmed by the comments! There were tears, and not only mine.
I left work early - there was nothing left for me to do or say... 
In the evening, I went to eat out with my walking friends, which was good and stopped me from moping about..
