Wicked

Home mid-morning from the overnighter at work and, after a pedal out back,  it was off out with the family to the local international buffet place for lunch - not been for ages but it was great! - and then whilst the younger members of the family went their seperate ways us grown-ups went to see Wicked at the flicks. We liked it a lot - spectacular as you like, great set-pieces and a little bit moving and emotional along the way.

Pic here is of post-Wicked drinks in a local (The Fountain) before one of us (her) went home for a Zoom catch-up with old university pals and the other one (me) went to another local (The Golden Rule) to meet up with a friend for a Christmas couple of pints as a result of various WhatsApps over the last few days. Scheduling at this time of year, blimey, it's a wonder anyone ever used to manage anything back in the day ;-)
