Penguin
Penguin comes out every year to sit in his snow globe and admire our Christmas tree which we decorated yesterday.
This afternoon at 4.00pm we had our Farmington village carol service which was really nice. I was asked to do a reading called 'The Everlasting Turkey' which was quite amusing, and there were some other not strictly religious readings and poems which were fun. Two of them were read by a nine year old and an eleven year old and they both did so well. I feel that's what village carol services are all about. The Northleach choir came up to give their support and I did the solo first verse of 'Once in Royal'. It didn't go as well as it did when I practised at home so I guess that was the nerves talking. Still, people seemed to like it so that's OK!
