Witch Hazel in Sunshine

Firstly happy birthday to A. In order to celebrate we went to a film, had a curry, went for a beer, walked back along the canal and had presents. All good.
I have also visited my friend M to pick up a very beautiful hand made Christmas gift for my mum. And  had a visit to mum am for a very pleasant cup of tea.
An action packed day!
The witch Hazel is coming into bloom day by day. It interestingly starts blooming at the bottom and spreads upwards.
