A few weeks ago I saw a post on Facebook from a man who like to takes photos of weird things sticking out of peoples heads. When I saw this sculpture/lampost combo I thought of him.
Last night we went to our local pub (a very rare occurence!) for a christmas party. The band was OK but at 1/2 time a few of the locals got up and 'did a turn'. 2 were quite bad, 2 were quite good and one was absolutely brilliant. He sang an old Irish ballad almost a cappella and everyone in the audience had tears in their eyes. I have since looked the song up on youtube and none of the versions on there are a patch on his.
