Evening Light

After the washout that was yesterday, today was hot and sunny and glorious. A really lovely day, so Kate and I took her dog, Poppy, and Ollie up over the hill by the old army camp and had a super walk and chatted away, catching up with each other's news.

Another visitor this afternoon and we sat in the sun, using yesterday's umbrella as a sun shade! Mike spent his day off working away at the fence and it's looking great. It will provide lots of much needed shelter and protection from the winter winds, which are hardly imaginable on a day like today!

This was the view from the car as I headed home from a committee meeting this evening. The haar was just coming in, the setting sun shining through it over the bay. And Mike is out there somewhere, sailing in Aida!
