The changing face of the River Clyde

The Clyde is at the very heart of the city of Glasgow. It's a "working" river that has never really made the transition from this role to any sort of "leisure" river. This is quite sad, though understandable, and maybe this will change in the next generation.

On the left is the Clyde Auditorium and on the right the brilliant new Glasgow Hydro, both concert and event venues.

The continued development of this area is fantastic for the city. This gallery shows what you can see in a less than 10 minute walk along the river.
