Photo Opportunity

Well that didn't take long did it - it's back to another niche effort for today's blip. We'd only nipped out to get a few bits of shopping at our local supermarket when I decided this was too good a photo opportunity to miss!
There was just something I loved about this retro style photo booth with the light on, the two portraits of the women with red hair, the swirly concrete wall and the taped up letterbox on the left hand side of the image against the knotted curtain and of course that almost eye-waveringly bright orange stool!
As with a couple of days ago a lyric from a song started playing in head as I was looking at this scene - I feel like I might be starting to develop a blip based synesthesia, which is when your brain routes sensory information through multiple unrelated senses, causing you to experience more than one sense simultaneously as you take a picture - in this instance it was "I need a photo-opportunity, I want a shot at redemption" from the glorious wordsmithery of You Can Call Me Al by Paul Simon.
Of course that also means I also had to tag that iconic video with Paul Simon and Chevy Chase in a pink room with just a few instruments, some brilliant lip syncing and a couple of chairs. Enjoy! :-)
