Date for two :-(

After work today we went over to York to see our friends Luke and Hannah. The last time we saw them was before Luke started his chemo in December. 6 months later he has finished his chemo. However we got there and found out that he was staying in hospital overnight after a doctor accidentally cut one of his arteries taking out his Hickman Line (normally a routine procedure). Oops.

A night of indulgence (we had bought a lot of cheese and red wine!) for 4 friends turned into Joe and I babysitting and eating some of this huge homemade meringue by ourselves whilst Hannah visited Luke in hospital :-(
