A day Of Two Halves
A very early start. First stop the supermarket for celery, then over to Wilmslow for a child’s party with George. It was rather full on but the children had a great time.
It was then a frantic dash over to the Peak District caverns for an afternoon of carol singing by candlelight. What a wonderful experience (apart from the steep, scarily windy climb up to the cavern where I was literally fighting for breath!)
Mulled wine and a warm mince pie back at the visitor centre.
