4 days till Christmas

The wind howled all through the night and its continued to be very windy all day.  I was glad I had no need to go out and had an indoor day already planned.

Did a few chores and just before 3pm I turned on the radio to listen to the Newcastle match - they were playing away against Ipswich.  After around 35 seconds Newcastle scored their first goal.  Isak was the scorer. 3 more Newcastle goals followed - one from Jacob Murphy and 2 more for Isak to get his hat- trick. ( The first hat- trick for a Newcastle player since April 2019.)  Final score Ipswich 0 Newcastle 4.  Newcastle are now 7th in the table.  I'm so glad the team have started playing well again and hopefully they can keep up the good work going forward.

I did intend doing some more present wrapping but it never happened.  But I did have a nice Whatsapp video call with Becky which lasted about an hour.

For an Emergency blip I took a photo of my Tomten Christmas countdown plaque.. 

Apparently we may get some snow through the night.
