Christmas cards
I stopped sending Christmas cards a few years ago and sent emails to nearly everyone, reserving a few physical cards for those without the internet.
This year is the same, but I realise how much I enjoy receiving cards. Some have been chosen very carefully this year and the messages are moving.
I've selected four with birds to show you. The thumbnail shows birds who all frequent my garden, although the bullfinches are less likely to be on the feeders than the others.
Liz took Margret's washing and I caught up with a few preparations. I don't have many to make, but I have finished wrapping presents and nearly finished writing cards/emails.
It has been very wild here. Part of the cotoneaster that graces the wall above the garage and the front of the house, has fallen. I was glad that I had brought my wreath in. I added extra foliage to it today and it looks better again.
I had put the table decoration in the garden to keep damp and I notice that the holly berries have all gone. It's those garden birds I reckon!
