5th, 6th and 7th.

5th, 6th and 7th batch of a dozen mince pies made today! Managed a 7th because I decided to try a crumble topping instead of pastry on some. Think it works.

I’m not a baker, but my mince pies are rather nice (even if I do say so myself). It’s good to give some away, which is why I have to keep making more. My pastry is very short, so it takes a while.

Early start this morning, I was at Tesco at 6.30 am. Still couldn’t get everything as the dates were still too soon!
