Rainbow over Myrtle

It would be an understatement to say it was a bit blustery (and wet!) when we set up in the dark at Parkrun this morning.  Thankfully it didn't go over the tipping point when we would have to consider cancelling.  The eighty or so runners and walkers who turned out were in good spirits despite being blown around some parts of the course and in slow motion in others!  Then just as the finish team were awaiting the final folks to come in,  the skies cleared and a glorious rainbow appeared.

Unfortunately, due to the forecast, the RHS cancelled their Glow light show that we were due to go and see with the family, so seeing Euan and his Mum and Dad will have to wait a few more days.
