Happy Solstice.

This morning I watched online the live streaming of the Winter Solstice from Newgrange. It was touch and go if the clouds would part and the sun would shine through but it did and we got to view this magical sight.
The lucky lottery draw winners got to be inside the tomb to view the light streaming into the chamber. Large crowds had gathered outside to view the return of the sun.
Very windy weather here in Campbeltown with gusts over 60 mph recorded. I didn't go out for an afternoon walk with Beachcomber and Fegus I have therefore put up an image of a triptych I made based on an earlier visit we made to Newgrange.
