Cool & Crisp

The weather, of course...not the hawk! Winter Solstice dawned at 4:21 this morning with a beautiful clear sky and refreshing temps. Spotted on our morning walk, this Red-shouldered hawk was calling and calling. I'm surprised that she wasn't being harassed by our local crow murder. 
They're very vigilant and typically give the hawks no peace. Wishing all who celebrate...a Peaceful Winter Solstice. m
