Christmas Fancy Dress Paddle

For our Blip today we decided to go and take some photos of the paddle boarders doing a festive paddle from Stamp End into the Brayford. They had a little mill around and then paddled back again.

The return trip was much easier. The way to the Brayford looked like hard going, paddling against the flow of some very churned up, choppy waters.

Several people had their dogs. This  white one in the thumbnail absolutely loved it, and spent some of the time lying down with his front paws dangling in the water. Another cheeky one had to be swapped with one of his human's other dogs as he was going crazy every time he saw a swan.

There were some amazing costumes. Lots of elves and Santas of course, as well as a polar  bear, snow folk and a foursome with two reindeer, an elf and of course, Santa paddling a large board with a sleigh attached! They all attracted a great deal of attention in town.

We came home for some lunch and watched Lincoln City get a fine win against Reading on TV.
