..along came the camel.
Here is the camel to add to the Nativity in Bath - extra in this blip here. I like him but not sure he will be in proportion to the rest which is what put me off making him in the first place! He’ll have to be ‘far off’.
The rein was sent by the lady who sent me the pattern so I wanted to use it. The bit under his chin is instead of the suggested tassel.
In the extra you can see the doll that many of you have made in the past and that I started for Eda when she was coming up to 4. On your advice I’ve waited till she is 7 to complete it to give to her. (See here when I started it in 2021) To be honest I’m not sure if she will like it, she’s more into animals but I had all the materials so thought I might as well finish it. She’s called Agneatha, being Swedish, but Eda will have her own ideas.
I’m also hoping Jude isn’t keen on having one as I’m not keen on making another!
Having a chilled Saturday morning as we have our ATN concert at 5.00 pm at Bingley Arts Centre. We need to be there by 4.00pm. We get seats but it will be 90 minutes of almost non stop singing with only the occasional sit down. Should be fun though. This will be the fourth one we’ve done there and the fifth Christmas concert I’ve done since joining the group pre Covid.
Hoping to go for a curry afterwards.
The weather is vile, strong winds and showers but there is some sunshine. Glad I’m not travelling today.
