I, perhaps luckily, haven't so far had to organise anything related to a funeral or burial, so had really not got myself organised for tomorrow's service.

Luckily friend Annie, who does sadly have quite a bit of recent experience, knew what was needed. She had a selection of various little text passages & I chose the above two. Annie knew my Dad well, keeping up regular contact with him, long after I had not had any with her, and I suspect she had a good idea of what was appropriate. The second one, under the daffodil (drawn by her daughter), is a short untitled old Irish blessing.
