Indoor Attractions

A day which we hoped would be the first day of our Christmas holidays. And indeed it was. It’s now open season on the drink, nuts, cheese, nibbles - anything you want in fact. We are so good to each other!
But first we’d to go and get supplies in. Not something you’d want to do at the weekend after all. I soon realised it wasn’t something I wanted to do on a Friday either. Blimey, once you’d negotiated the car park at Craigleith, then finding a spare trolley… I could go on. In fact I did, to Waitrose. Jammed or what. I shamefully parked in the one remaining space up on level two. It may have been a parent and toddler space. Hey, cut me some slack. They’ve got long lives ahead of them, after all.
But once home, oh bliss. I’m not going out again.
