Two

Only two swans-a-swimming, but nice to see them.

More unusually, I spotted something swimming toward me from the other side of the Dam. I didn’t have my binoculars with me, so zoomed in for a closer look with my camera (extra). After consulting the superior id skills of my brothers, we are fairly confident it is a Mink with a Bream in its mouth. The anglers will not be happy, so I won’t tell them.  

It was my last working day before the break. Busier than I was expecting, particularly in terms of being on the wrong end of emails that really shouldn’t have been sent when everyone is about to go off on leave, but I tried not to get drawn into them. 

So, twelve days off now. At this stage, almost completely unplanned, but hopefully some down time in amongst all the seasonal stresses.
