Tamar Valley

(Named after the one in Cornwall and leading to Launceston, more commonly known as Lonny). We also drove through Exeter and Beaconsfield today.

We went for a tour of one of the very many vineyards round here (bottom left and centre) and a fascinating gin and whisky distillery. The Californian owner shared his passion with us (bottom right and neon art). I am not a gin drinker but with lots if local botanicals it was delicious! Finally we went for a zodiac cruise along the river. I could have blipped dozens if black swans but instead (top left) you have a young naturalist explaining kelp to us. I didn’t know that they are not plants but a different group actually closer to animals!
