Trapped!

I was just about to go for a walk and see if I could find something interesting, and remembered I'd snapped this butterfly early today.

I always keep my long lens on the table at breakfast, as that's when I'm most likely to spot an unusual bird in the garden.

When I noticed this butterfly desperately trying to escape, I knew I didn't have time to change the lens, so stood on the other side of the room.
The result with the long lens was better than I'd expected.

It's a beautiful evening, so I'll still go for that walk, but I'll leave the camera at home.
