Wedding anniversary

Today is our wedding anniversary. Mr MC and I have been married for 35 years. All those years ago Mr MC made this, my wedding band, for me. I seem to recall that it required creating a caste of my hand, or at least the relevant finger(s) , but that has been lost somewhere along the way. I'm not good at wearing rings but I keep this on always. It's getting a little worn and scratched but I love it, a lovely symbol of our marriage.
On our 3rd anniversary we watched on the tv the wedding of a very famous royal couple. Of course their relationship ended in sadness and ultimately tragedy. Makes me feel very grateful for all that I have.
