Out with the Old

We finally rid ourselves of our troublesome boiler today. The plumber arrived with a brand new Worcester-Bosch and ripped out the old and installed a new boiler.

The old 'Ideal' boiler has been nothing but trouble from the day it was installed; I have ranted about this pile of rubbish in previous blips, here's hoping the new one will live up to our not particularly high standards of performance, we would just like a bit of reliability.

So here is the before and after boilers; needless to say the new one looks a bit smarter now it is fully installed, but quite boring, hence the innards picture.

In other news I went to work this afternoon and Ann met me out at four thirty for a well-deserved cup of coffee at Nero.
