The flood
This is a view towards Munlochy Bay just before the heavens opened and flooded the roads.
It was a super day until about 3.30pm when the storm hit. It was great timing though as I ran out of paint after painting The Lookout (summerhouse facing the lighthouse) and Mike ran out of wood for the decking at the top of the garden.
So,of course, this meant a trip to B&Q. We went to The White Cottage in North Kessock for dinner and watched two dolphins under the bridge. It must have been RNLI practise as the carpark was full and we saw the lifeboat head out into the Firth.
It's still raining now so no need to water the garden tonight.
