Post-prandial Wander

Not a bad day; a bit of minor maintenance around the house, a few errands, some family entertainment. In between I finished off Michael Palin’s book about his Great Uncle Harry, a pretty interesting read and definitely one for anyone looking for a book club suggestion.
We were out for dinner with P&A this evening, Allgauer Hof being their preferred spot where I ate and drank far more than was good for me. (Goose breast with dumplings and red cabbage and a few beers, if you were thinking of enquiring.) I desperately needed a walk to settle that lot down so we took a stroll back into town, swung by Greiter9 but it was full, then detoured back to BBQ Bob’s which wasn’t. Spent a very pleasant time there, yacking, generally chewing the fat and (at least for me) digesting that goose.
Home now, whew.
